Each bundle of our keratin bond extensions includes 25 individual strands, totaling 25 grams, with each strand weighing 1 gram. These strands can be used at full size for clients with sufficient hair density to support the weight. For clients with finer hair or specific needs, the strands can be precisely customized by cutting them into halves, thirds, or quarters, ensuring a perfect match for every Cutie’s natural hair density and desired style.

This flexibility allows for tailored applications, providing seamless integration and a natural look for every client.

It’s not uncommon to combine both methods for a hybrid installation, tailoring the approach to meet multiple needs. We recommend thorough education on both applications to make the most informed decision for your client’s specific needs.

With proper care, Cutie Wefts can last up to a year or more. K-Tip extensions typically last 3 to 5 months and are generally not reusable; it’s recommended to purchase a new set for each application to maintain optimal length and quality. 

Over time, extensions may experience dryness and require trimming, similar to natural hair. Unlike natural hair, extensions don’t grow, so it’s advisable to use a longer length to maximize their lifespan. Lighter-colored hair or tighter curl patterns undergo more intensive chemical processing, making them more reliant on moisture-based products for longevity.

With proper care most Cutie Heads Hair Extensions are designed to last up to 12 months with the exception of our blondest shades, pastels, and textured hair with a shorter lifespan of 6 to 9 months due to the additional processing involved in creating these unique looks.
