Find a Cutieheads Hair Extension Stylist Near You
The Cutieheads Hair Extension Stylist Finder is a growing directory of licensed professionals who work with Cutieheads Hair Extensions.
Please note: All stylists listed are independent professionals and not affiliated with or employed by Cutieheads Hair Extensions. While we vet applications for licensing, we are not responsible for the services, pricing, or outcomes provided by any stylist. We always recommend doing your own research and scheduling a consultation before booking.
Our textured collections (Natural Wave, Soft Curl, and Tight Curl) achieve their texture through a professional chemical texturizing process. While this process is performed carefully and intentionally to preserve the integrity of the hair, it is still a chemical service. Just as chemically textured natural hair is naturally drier and more porous than virgin hair, textured extensions will also have increased porosity and reduced elasticity compared to our straight collections.
If you choose to chemically alter your textured extensions, including coloring, toning, bleaching, lightening, or perming, doing so will void the Cutieheads warranty.
Because textured hair has a higher porosity, color will often absorb more quickly and appear darker than expected. We strongly recommend adjusting your formulas accordingly, just as you would when working on highly processed or high-porosity blonde hair.
Before applying color to the full set, always perform a strand test on a small section of hair to evaluate the final result and make any necessary formula adjustments.
For best color results, textured extensions should also be thoroughly clarified or detoxified two to three times before any chemical service to remove any surface buildup that may interfere with even color absorption.
